Who We Are And What we Do
The Nevada Art Advocates is a non-profit corporation
dedicated to supporting cultural, fine and performing arts
in the state of Nevada. Founded in 1977, the organization
is active statewide. It includes as its members individuals and companies active in business, public policy, the professions, and education as well as the arts. Nevada Art Advocates acts
in the best interests of all the arts in Nevada.

- A scholarship program supports Graduating high school
seniors who have demonstrated excellence in and a
commitment to the arts
- In-classroom funding aids rural and urban school
teachers in the arts with needed financial support

- An Annual Awards Gala recognizes individuals and
businesses who have distinguished themselves through
their support of the arts
- Legislative Arts Caucus brings together Nevada State
Legislators with other leaders who are supportive
of the arts
- Promotes awareness and financial support for Arts Day
in the state’s capital—Arts supporters are paired with
senators
and assembly persons on the floor of the
senate legislature during a business session
- Advocacy efforts include working to develop a state wide
voice with all arts organizations
