Download Your 2011 State Scholarship Applicatioin

Nevada residents who are currently seniors in an (accredited) Nevada high school and who have demonstrated a commitment to the study of the arts. Students must pursue post-secondary, accredited study and enroll in an arts education degree or applied degree in dance, music, theatre, or the visual arts. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required and students must demonstrate financial need.

Majority Leader Of The Senate U.S. Senator Harry Reid Honored

NAA will present its Art Advocacy Award to U.S. Senator Harry Reid for his extraordinary support of the National and local arts programs. During 2009, Senator Reid successfully fought to increase funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and ensured the 2009 Economic Recovery Package included $50M for the NEA.

Nevada Arts Advocates (NAA), a nonprofit 501 (C-3) statewide organization dedicated to supporting cultural, fine and performing arts in the state of Nevada, is hosting an Arts Awareness Luncheon, June 10 at Palace Station, Salon B.

11th Annual Arts Day in Nevada on Thursday, March 5, 2009

Arts Day kicks off at the Legislative Building in Carson City. NAA urges registered guests to arrive by 10:30 a.m. to sit with their assigned legislators for the morning legislative session. Following the session, NAA will host a luncheon in honor of Nevada Legislators at the Carson Nugget.
